South Dakota Number One Place To Lose Your Wallet

By KSFY Staff

New at ten tonight, a recent Gallop Poll puts South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota on a top ten list for trusting your neighbors. The poll asked residents if they would expect a neighbor who found a lost wallet or purse containing 200 bucks to return it. Turns out 80 percent of people in Minnesota said yes, it was up slightly in Iowa with 82 saying they trust their neighbors. but South Dakota came in number one, tied with Utah saying 85 percent of South Dakotans trust their neighbors.

We once found a wallet, LOTS of money in it, did not touch a dime, returned EVERY penny, it was an out of state trucker containing his paycheck

This poll is flawed. Mormons are allowed to lie according to the Qua'ran and so they easily could say they think they'd return their wallet EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER WOULD! Money grubbing Mormons!

This, of course, is all a "what if....." situation. My purse has NEVER held that much money. A better survey subject would have been, "What percentage of wallets/purses in these states hold at least $200?"

Okay, next time mine goes missing I'll travel 600 miles to come up there and look for it.

This is a dumb title to the story. It makes it sound like you have a good chance at having your wallet stolen in SD. :S
