Fire At Glacial Lakes Ethanol OutA fire at the Glacial Lakes Ethanol Plant in Watertown was put out on Monday. The fire department was called about 10:00 on Monday morning after a corn dryer got plugged up on the bottom, which caused the dryer to overheat. When the fire department got there, there were flames coming out of the columns of the corn dryer. The fire department was able to put the fire out with the help of ethanol plant employees. There was limited damage. No one was hurt. © 2009 KSFY Action News. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
