Update: Three People Arrested After Robbery at SF Bank

By KSFY Staff

Three people are in the Minnehaha County Jail after a robbery at a Sioux Falls bank over the lunch hour.

Police were called to the First Savings Bank at 2301 E 10th Street just after 12:30.

Police say 28-year-old Max Michael Boor went in the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. After he got the cash he left the bank in a 1999 Suzuki SUV with Texas plates. Police found that vehicle less than a mile away and eight minutes later with Boor, the money, and two others inside.

Officer Sam Clemens said, "There were several identifiers, all of those aided us in making an arrest in a very short time."

In addition to the Boor, 28-year-old Mark Gordon Green was arrested on a parole violation and 33-year-old Shannon Lee Heggeseth was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

It amazes me to think people would risk years in prison for the little bit of money they get or attempt to get from robbing a bank or any place for that matter!
