Ellsworth AFB Sending Thoughts And Prayers To Texas

By KSFY Staff

The tragic news from Fort Hood, Texas is reverberating at military bases all across America.

We spoke with Technical Sergeant Steven Wilson at Ellsworth Air Force Base just east of Rapid City.

As of news time, their security alert level had not been elevated but this act of violence is having an impact nonetheless.

"When you see something like this unfold on American soil to fellow military members, regardless of branch of service. Our jobs are dangerous enough by their very nature so to have something like this happen in the homeland just makes it doubly tragic," said Wilson.
