New Amur Tiger Cub Introduced At Zoo

A recent addition at the Great Plains Zoo is ready to meet you. Callie is a 30lbs Amur Tiger born at the zoo about 3 months ago. Today was her first visit to the big cats exhibit. Callie is the only surviving cub from a litter of six.
She's been hand-raised and will be weaned in a couple of weeks which is when she'll begin the transition to her new home. The Amur Tiger is an endangered species with only 13 alive in captivity and only 400-500 surviving in the wild.
