Psychiatric Evaluation Set For Sioux Falls Man

Tools

A Sioux Falls man accused of sexually exploiting children will have a psychiatric evaluation before standing trial.

Forty-one-year-old Paul Churchill is accused of taking part in a sex ring involving children as young as 7 years old. In August he pleaded not guilty to four counts of rape.

Court documents allege Churchill took part in two years of group sex acts with three children ages 7, 9 and 14.

Churchill's lawyer said Tuesday his client should have a psychiatric evaluation to determine his competence to stand trial.

His wife, 44-year-old Cara Kay Prince, has pleaded guilty to sexual contact with a child and awaits sentencing.

Just another ploy and waste of money to try and get this dirt bag off. "Defense Attorneys are a joke".
