SD Guard Says No State Soldiers In Rampage

A spokesman for the South Dakota National Guard says his office has been busy fielding calls from people wondering if any South Dakotans were involved in the shooting rampage at Fort Hood, but he says none were.

Capt. Anthony Deiss (dice) says South Dakota soldiers have used Fort Hood as a mobilization base before deployment to other countries. He says the fact that no South Dakota soldiers were involved in Thursday's rampage does not make it any less tragic.
