An emotional gathering Friday night in Fort Hood, Texas.

Soldiers and military families gathered at the base around nine p.m.

Many held candles in silence remembering the 13 people who were lost and the 30 people who were wounded after Army psychiatrist Major Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire inside the Soldier Readiness Processing Center.
