The House Of Representatives are in a special weekend session to vote on health care reform. So far the day's included lots of sharp exchanges between memebers of both political parties and a visit from President Obama.

This is one more attempt to try and get Congress to pass health care reform. The President said today, "We're closer than we've ever been now is the time to finish the job." "This is our moment, I call on members of congress to answer the call of history."

The president took the unusual step of traveling to Capitol Hill to meet with Democratic members to encourage them to support the measure. The house met in a special Saturday session to finish up debate and eventually vote on health care legislation. Despite their large majority, Democratic Leaders ahve spent the past few days lobbying members in order to get to the 218 votes necessary to pass the bill and say now is the time to get it done.

Republican leaders say that all their members will vote against the measure saying the nearly 2,000 page bill will cost more than one trillion dollars over the next decade. The say the democrats should scrap the current plan and start again.

The house is expected to remain in session until a final vote.
