Pickup in Corn Field Sparks Fire Near Garretson

Firefighters from three communities were called out Tuesday morning after a corn field started on fire north of a farm on 252nd Street near Garretson.

Firefighters tell Action News a pickup in the field sparked the fire.

They aren't sure how much corn was lost, but crews from Garretson, Baltic and Valley Springs were there for over an hour.
