Police say a woman has been arrested after a bank robbery in Mobridge.

Authorities said the Dakotah Bank on the town's Main Street was robbed about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and the 50-year-old woman was arrested as she left through a door into the alley.

Police said the woman is believed to be from Fort Yates, N.D. She was taken to the Walworth County Jail in Selby to be held on second-degree robbery charges until a bond is set,

Mobridge Police chief Mike Nehls said bank officials and bank employees did a "great job" and no one was hurt.

Hats off to the Mobridge Police Department and the Dakotah Bank employees for a job well done. It is great to live in a community where my family can feel safe and know that response time is quick.
