The Brule County Sheriff's office says they've located the car that Angelina Walters used to escape a Chamberlain courtroom on Tuesday.

The car was found on the Lower Brule Indian Reservation and officials believe that Walters is on the reservation as well.

But they are unable to arrest her because she is on the reservation, which is protected by tribal police.

Before fleeing, Walters had been sentenced to 15 years behind bars for an aggravated assault conviction.

IN response to Bella... I am glad you agree with me. They supported her after all that was done to T because why... well we all have our theories on that. maybe she was covering for someone else to keep them outta trouble and ole Mary thought she owed it to her for it. It's sick and GOD knows the truth...

heard she is in custody, she should have recieved more time, but, i suppose, when you have a farmer backing you-not a court appointed laywer, you can plead down from what she did. I hope that God will think kindly of the naser's for supporting her.

Mary should have known not to put money up for her... is it really money she didn't "deserve" to lose. She know's more so than anyone what kind of a loose cannon she is!

chaske-just because "you" were here first doesn't mean "you" shouldn't be held accountable for your actions. She must've done something pretty serious to get 15 years in prison. I guess if you wanna live around someone that violent, go to lower brule. I'm sure when KSFY printed "protected by tribal..." they meant lower brule is protected by tribal police, not the person. It's the tribal polices' jurisdiction so they need to apprehend her.

Get a warrant issued by the feds for flight to avoid prosecution and the FBI can get her

I guess I know where to hide after getting sentenced to 15 years for aggravated assault....do you have to be native?

you were here first but we took it over. It's not the first time in history that has happened yet americans seem to feel like we need to repay the natives for what our ansestors did. you lost, get over it.
