Harrisburg Voters Approve $14 Million Bond For New School

Harrisburg Public School officials say the area is seeing a population boom and they now have crowded schools as a result.

Voters in Harrisburg on Tuesday overwhelmingly approved a $14 million bond for a new elementary school.

The bond passed with 68% of the vote. They needed 60% for it to be approved. 904 votes were cast with 607 voting yes, 296 voting no and one spoiled ballot.
