Lawsuit Alleges Disability Discrimination

Tools

A lawsuit against Trail King of South Dakota seeks back wages and punitive damages for a former worker who claims he's a victim of disability discrimination.

Gregory Miller's complaint says the company gradually reduced his duties and ultimately fired him because he has rheumatoid arthritis.

The company says he was let go because his job performance and attitude deteriorated, and because he violated company policy at work by distributing brochures or products from his wife's Avon business.

Miller worked in the maintenance department at Trail King's Mitchell plant for nearly 19 years.

Apparently, Trail King has no policy about confidentiality of personnel records.
