This is just one piece of a mural Sioux Falls Christian art students designed.

A Sioux Falls artist originally from Ethiopia has made a lasting impression on students.

18 art students from Sioux Falls Christian High School have been studying Eyob Mergia's work for the last semester.

Thursday, all their efforts paid off as they unveiled squares of paintings, drawings and collages that will be made into a mural, displayed in the school's hallway.

Their artwork will also be displayed in collaboration with Eyob and Sheree Soles in the Alpha & Omega Student Mural Art Show on May 22nd, located at Eyob Art Studio and Piper Gallery, 1825 S. Minnesota Ave.
