An SDSU baseball player died this morning after being injured in a skateboarding accident in Brookings on Monday evening. 

Brookings police say 21-year-old Kevin Morsching was found by a passerby, taken to a Brookings hospital and then airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital. 

He was originally from Rapid City and a relief pitcher.
