U.N. Secretary General Says The World Needs More Money For Swine Flu

The U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon says the world body may need over one billion dollars to fight the swine flu pandemic for the rest of the year.

He says funds have not come in as expected and the money is needed to ensure the poorest countries get vaccine supplies and anti-virals if the pandemic counties to spread.

The Secretary General went on to say the relative mildness of the pandemic should not be taken for granted.

The world health organization says 429 people have died from Swine Flu and over 94 thousand have been infected.
