Officials with the Minnehaha County Emergency Operations Center gathered on Wednesday, getting ready for their first shipment of the H1N1 Vaccine.

Officials say they expect their first shipment to arrive October 21st. Now this first shipment will be for first responders. Officials are not sure if the shipment will be of just the H1N1 mist or if they will receive some injectable vaccine as well.

After this first shipment officials are expecting to start holding clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. At first they will only be vaccinating people who fall into the target categories.

Officials say when they are ready for those clinics they will use aggressive pubic briefings over the media and through schools and hospitals to get the clinic information out.
