Jeane Hagenlock, 86, of Onaka, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the Faulkton Area Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the United Church of Faulkton with Pastor Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Seneca. Visitation will be 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2009 at Luce Funeral Home, Faulkton followed by a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church.

Jeane Doneta Wilkinson was born September 24, 1923 to Ward and Verna (Ham) Wilkinson in Faulkton. She attended school in Miranda. On January 10, 1946, she married Carl Hagenlock in Rockham. Together they established their home on a farm north of Seneca, where she resided until entering the Faulkton Healthcare Center in September of 2008.

Jeane was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Seneca.

She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her dog, Spot. Jeane also enjoyed assisting Carl on the family farm, traveling, gardening, baking and sewing.

Jeane’s memory will be cherished by her husband of 63 years, Carl of Onaka, SD; daughter, Billie (Dave) Nelson of Faulkton, SD; grandson, Ryan (Jennifer) Nelson of Onaka, SD; great-granddaughter, Kelci Nelson and great-great granddaughter, Maci of Watertown, SD; great-grandson, Cody Nelson of Onaka, SD; one brother, Dale (Beverly) Wilkinson of Miranda, SD; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Bonnie; sisters: Norma Belau, Darlene and Donna Wilkinson; and brother, Vernon “Bud” Wilkinson.

Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Jeane's arrangements.
