MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Johan Santana (YO'-hahn san-TAN'-ah) pitched eight innings today as the Twins beat the White Sox 10-to-4 at the Metrodome.
Santana allowed four runs on seven hits.
Nick Punto, Jason Tyner and Torii Hunter each had three hits for
Minnesota while Jason Kubel (KOO'-bul) had two doubles. Mike
Redmond cleared the bases with a double in the sixth inning to
break open a tight game.
Minnesota has won five of its last six games.
Jose Contreras took the loss for Chicago, giving up seven runs
over five and one-third innings.
