Osborne wants return of physical football

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Interim athletic director Tom Osborne says
he wants the next Nebraska coach to bring back old-school
Cornhusker football.
Osborne says that doesn't mean reviving the triple-option
offense. But he does envision a return to a physical brand of
football played with great intensity -- the way he coached it for
25 years.
Osborne hinted that the Huskers lost their hard edge under Bill
Callahan, who was fired yesterday.
Osborne says it's hard to be successful in college football
today without a mobile quarterback. He thinks the Huskers might
have a good one in Joe Ganz.
