Northwestern College's Remmerde looks to basketball career
overseas

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) - Northwestern College's Deb Remmerde
(REM'-er-dee) is setting her sights on a basketball career
overseas.
Remmerde was waived by the WNBA's Houston Comets a few weeks ago. Now she has hired an agent, who's letting teams in Europe and other countries know that she's interested in playing.
The 5-foot-9 guard helped the Red Raiders win this year's NAIA
Division II championship.
She capped her college career as the all-time leading scorer in
the division with 3,854 points.
Remmerde graduated from Northwestern College on Saturday.
