SDHSCA names spring coaches of the year

WATERTOWN, S.D (AP) - The South Dakota High School Coaches
Association has announced its coach of the year awards for the
spring season.
Coaches honored are Jay Weber of Avon, boys golf; Todd Schlimgen of Colman-Egan, girls golf; Jeff Schlekeway of Pierre, boys tennis; Diane Gilbertz of Brandon Valley, spirit; Brock Rops of Sioux Falls Christian, boys track and field; and Kim DeRouchey of Hanson, girls track and field.
James Cimburek of the Yankton Press & Dakotan has been selected
as the South Dakota sportswriter of the year.
