Riley Reiff Arrested in Iowa City

By Sports KSFY

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Police say Riley Reiff, a Parkston graduate and incoming freshman on the University of Iowa football team, will pay a hefty fine after stripping in an alley, then leading police on a drunken foot chase through downtown Iowa City. Reiff, who received the South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year honors for his performance at Parkston last season, is expected to plead guilty to charges of public intoxication and interference with official acts and will pay a $562 fine. The 19-year-old defensive end was seen acting disoriented and taking off his clothes in an alley in downtown Iowa City. Authorities say that when police approached him, Reiff took off, running into the kitchen the Pita Pit, knocking several trays on the floor. The pursuit continued for 20 minutes - and took eight officers. Reiff refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
Iowa officials were unavailable for comment. Reiff collected 261 tackles with 23 sacks and eight interceptions in his career at Parkston. He was the team captain and was a two-time Argus Leader Elite 45 selection. He was a first-team all-state defensive end as a sophomore and junior and a first team all-state tight end as a senior.

To Einstein, Must be someone who dislikes our family because our family is the kind of family everyone wishes they had. All 19 children are very loving and forgiving and could care less about stupid idiots like you!

Riley is one of the most humble and kind human beings I know and the news media has it all wrong. He wasn't naked, just took his shirt off, which was drenched in beer from the other football players. I wish for once the news media would get the facts before printing. Maybe someone should sue them for not getting all the facts and making his name out to look bad!

Everyone F's up-trust me. He's a good kid and a great athlete. Sounds like he just needed some exercise. Maybe the IA City Cops should pump some iron--8:1 for a 19 year old?
