WSU Wins NSIC Soccer Reg. Season Champion
Warriors #1 Seed in NSIC/U.S. Bank Soccer Tournament

The NSIC Women's Soccer title was determined this weekend and Winona State won their sixth straight and ninth overall NSIC Regular Season Championship. The Warriors finished the regular season 12-1-0 in NSIC play for 36 points to beat out Minnesota Duluth (11-1-1) by two points in the final standings. NSIC Standings.

The NSIC Soccer Tournament will begin on Wednesday, November 4 with the top four teams hosting the four lower seeds. The semifinals and championship rounds will then move to the highest remaining seed's home field. The semifinals will be played on Friday, November 6th at noon and 3:00 p.m. and the championship game will be played on Sunday, November 8th at 1:00 p.m. The winner of that match will earn a automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA DII Central Region Soccer Tournament.
