As we told you Monday on Action News Live at 5:00, a U.S. Preventive Task Force is now recommending women get mammograms starting at the age of 50 instead of 40, and then only every other year, citing the number of false positive results that come back for women in their 40's and the unneeded radiation exposure.
As you can imagine, this is creating a lot of confusion and controversy.
