We asked the Avera McKennan Emergency Department Director Dr. Don Kosiak about how to stay out of the ER this 4th of July holiday weekend.
Avera McKennan Emergency Director Dr. Don Kosiak says, "First of all follow the directions, have a parent supervise and have a bucket of water nearby. We will inevitably end up seeing people with burns on their hands and feet. You really have to use common sense, plus it's illegal to set off fireworks within city limits."
