As the oldest of five siblings, our Scholar of the Week has come to be responsible, dependable and a go-getter.
Frankie Lux's dream job is to be a motivational speaker - but first she's focusing on graduating from Eureka Public School.
English. American Government. Independent living. Math. Spanish. Chemistry. Band and choir.
"My brain hurts," says Frankie Lux.
Understandably so.
Frankie Lux is equally busy outside of school too.
In N.H.S., F.C.C.L.A., doing stats for track and actively participating in Eureka Public School's Jujitsu program.
"It's a small school, I definitely like Eureka, it's smaller and the curriculum is high quality," says Frankie.
Frankie also works on the family farm and is a C.N.A. at the local nursing home.
Clearly she deals well with responsibility.
"I have plans - 4 year university, not sure where - I plan on majoring in mass communications with a minor in Spanish," says Frankie.
But her teachers know whatever she chooses to do - Frankie will excel.
"It'll be interesting to see," says Joan Anderson.
FEM, a local Touchstone Energy Cooperative, is sending Frankie a hundred dollar scholarship for her hard work.
