Q: The physical therapist (from Avera Sacred Heart) is basically the last stop for prospective employees here. Why is that beneficial?
A: We want to make sure when people are out in the workforce it is a healthy safer area for them to be in whether it's a manufacturing line or not. We want to make sure that everyone is safe. It also helps the bottom line. We want to make sure the person you are putting out there is capable of doing the job so that's why the physical therapy is a great area to make sure everyone is OK and that they can proceed to go to aligned business.
Q: Don't you think it says a lot about the employer to sign on for this and Avera Sacred Heart to offer this program?
A: We are making a commitment at Avera Sacred Heart to make a safer and healthier community and we feel that getting this relationship out with employers is a great first step and making sure the whole community is healthy."
