Busy schedule will help Warner senior in college

Posted: Updated:

A busy senior year schedule inside and outside the classroom will help today's Scholar of the Week manage her time next fall when she plays volleyball in college.

Her teachers say it'll be nothing Briana Jung can't handle.

"We go to Aberdeen usually because there's not a lot in Warner, we just watch movies," says Briana Jung, who also likes to read, run, listen to music, volunteer and help kids.

She plays the trumpet in band, sings in the choir, and plays volleyball, basketball, runs track and cross country, and we haven't even started a list of all she's accomplished in the classroom.

"My mom's a math teacher so I like math. I like English," says Briana.

This Warner senior is considering a few careers including physical therapy.

She's also been raised with an interest in education.

"I always thought of teaching so maybe something like that or just working with kids," says Briana.

"She works hard, cares, she's not afraid to ask for help," says Chelsey Liebel.

And she'll continue that hard work next fall playing volleyball at Dakota Wesleyan University.

Northern Electric Cooperative is sending Briana a hundred dollar scholarship.

That's a local Touchstone Energy Cooperative.
