City to announce Downtown Events Center location at press conference

A press conference will be held later this afternoon at the Main Library in Sioux Falls where city officials will unveil the downtown site of the proposed Events Center.

The Events Center architectural team of Sink Combs Dethlefs and Koch Hazard Architects has completed the analysis of potential downtown Events Center locations. They will present their findings and identify the most suitable and feasible downtown site for an Events Center.

This is a key milestone for the project as the architectural team can now complete the comparative analysis of the existing Arena/Convention Center site and the most suitable and feasible downtown location.
