"Swap Meet and Motorcycle Show"

Posted: Updated:

Hundreds of people turned out this weekend for the annual "Swap Meet and Motorcycle Show" at the fairgrounds in Sioux Falls.

Booths were set up inside the expo building.

People could look at different kinds of motorcycles or buy different items from various vendors.

The Patriot Guard Riders had a booth set up this year.

They were there to tell people what they're all about.

"Anytime we can get out in the public and do things like this when it's not a funeral which we're asked to be part of so we can get the information out and without interrupting the funeral process," Mark Meadows said.

If a soldier dies, families usually ask the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral especially if protestors are there.

But guard riders also show up to airports when soldiers return home or show support if they're sent overseas.

The show ended Sunday afternoon.

This is the 31st year for the event.
