The Minnesota Lyon County Sheriff's Department says 14-year-old Haylee Fentress of Rural Lynd, MN and Paige Moravetz of Lynd, MN died after they apparently took their own lives Saturday.
The sheriff's department says it happened at a house in Island Lake Township near Marshall, Minnesota around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
Both girls were 8th graders at Marshall Middle School.
It's clear most of the Marshall community is mourning their deaths Sunday.
At least 100 cars filled the middle school parking lot Sunday. Hundreds of students and parents poured into the school for counseling to help deal with this loss.
The school district will continue counseling and support services at the Marshall Middle School Monday and throughout the week for students and people in the community.
Authorities suspect no foul play.
