Courtney Collen joined the KSFY News team in January 2011.

She is a proud 2010 graduate of the University of Arizona in warm, sunny Tucson where she earned a B.A. studying journalism, business and communication. Go Cats!

Courtney spent one year at NBC's affiliate KVOA News 4 in southern Arizona as a broadcast news intern where she learned the essentials of broadcast news reporting.

Courtney is the oldest of three children with family residing in St. Louis, Missouri.

In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, spending time outdoors (when temps are above zero), exercising, playing tennis, traveling, cooking, and just about anything that involves eating or meeting new people!

South Dakota is filled with a lot of wonderful people and Courtney is thrilled to get to know some of them.  She's glad to be part of the KSFY family and to call Sioux Falls her new home.
