A Minnesota senator wrote a letter to Delta officials urging them to continue service to greater Minnesota airports.
Delta is dropping flights from 24 smaller airports around the United States because they claim less people are flying.
They made that announcement Friday.
Senator Amy Klobuchar asked Delta to reconsider dropping the flights or finding alternative carriers.
Five small cities in Minnesota are impacted by this including Thief River Falls, Hibbing, International Falls, Brainerd, and Bemidji.
Some South Dakota cities are also affected including Watertown, Pierre and Aberdeen.
And Iowa as well including Sioux City, Fort Dodge, Mason City and Waterloo.
