People who favor a proposed $115 million events center in Sioux Falls are making a final push to build support for the project that city residents will vote on in about two weeks.
The campaign called Build it Now is using TV and radio, billboards, automated calls and other outlets to push for a yes vote. City officials also are continuing to host informational meetings on the proposal.
A group called the Citizens' Network Against the Events Center questions whether it's wise for the city to take on so much debt.
The new center in South Dakota's largest city would seat 12,000 people for sporting events and concerts.
