Cause of South Dakota auto dealership fire unknown

WESSINGTON SPRINGS, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota Fire Marshal Paul Merriman says a blaze that destroyed a vehicle dealership in Wessington Springs has been ruled accidental but the exact cause will never be known.

Merriman says that investigators were unable to pinpoint what sparked the Jan. 3 fire that consumed Springs Auto Inc. and the vehicles inside the showroom.

Owner Lawrence Caffee has said he isn't sure if he'll rebuild.
