Storm chaser Andy Gabrielson died in a car crash Saturday.  Now his family has set funeral services.  His family has set funeral services.  According to Andy's parents, visitation will be held Friday, February 10th from 4 to 8 at night and the funeral will be held Saturday at 10 in the morning.  Both are being held at Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne, Minnesota.

Andy Gabrielson was killed in a car crash on the Turner Turnpike in Tulsa, Oklahoma Saturday.  

Gabrielson was an acclaimed storm chaser who worked for KSFY for many years. His video of a tornado in Minnesota won an Emmy in 2011.  

He was on his way back to our area after being in Texas Thursday and Friday chasing tornadoes.

Gabrielson was driving through Oklahoma Saturday afternoon, on his way to Kansas where he was going to stay with a friend. On Sunday, he planned on heading home to Luverne, Minnesota.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a wrong way driver caused the crash which involved four cars. Two people died in the crash including Andy. Many other people are also injured in the accident. The highway was closed for quite some time after the crash but has now reopened.

Gabrielson was 24-years-old. He leaves behind family, friends and a three-year-old daughter.
