SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - No one was seriously hurt in a Sioux Falls apartment explosion.
The blast that produced heavy smoke and triggered the building's sprinkler system prompted the evacuation of the downtown apartment building Tuesday night. Police say a tenant in the third-floor apartment where the blast occurred told authorities he was cooking french fries at the time.
The tenant suffered minor injuries. Damage to the building wasn't immediately determined.
