The South Dakota Department of Public Safety has released the name of the man who died in a Jackson County fatal crash.
A Montana man died in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 about 12 miles west of Kadoka on Monday, February 6th.
Bobby Gray Allgood, 74, of Reed Point, Montana, was driving a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire westbound when the vehicle drove onto a patch of black ice and went out of control.
The vehicle slid into the median and rolled. Allgood was wearing a seatbelt but was partially thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Pennington County Sheriff's Office and Interior and Wall Fire Departments assisted.
