It was military appreciation night at the Sioux Falls Skyforce game, Saturday night.
During half time, more than 70 new military recruits were sworn in. There was also an honorable guest, he is Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry. Petry has become the second living recipient of the Medal of Honor, the highest in military history.
He was presented with that medal by President Obama, last summer.
"To be honored like that is great, but at the same time, as I told a lot of people, it's not only myself that is being honored its all the military and veterans that have served. So that makes it easier to take such an overwhelming crowd of applause," Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry said.
