A high-speed car chase led police from Minnesota to South Dakota overnight. Police lights lined I-90 around midnight after a car chase led police across state lines.
Minnesota Highway Patrol tell KSFY the chase started in Nobles County, Minnesota after they tried to pull a woman over for a speeding violation.
Troopers say, Yolanda Black, 49, of Saint Paul, Minnesota wouldn't pull over and reached speeds of 100 miles per hour.
They say spikes were used but that didn't stop her.
Troopers tell KSFY they had to use a pit maneuver, making slight contact with Black's car.
She lost control of the car, ending the chase.
Black was taken from the scene in an ambulance to be checked for a medical emergency not associated with the chase.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol, and the Minnesota Highway Patrol were all on scene.
