No one was injured when a fire broke out in the apartment building located at 111 South Center Avenue in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue arrived on the scene around 2:30 Thursday afternoon. They found smoke coming from the first floor of the two story building. Fire fighters had the blaze under control in about 15 minutes.
The person living in the apartment was outside when fire crews arrived.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with three support vehicles, four fire trucks, and eighteen fire fighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
