MERRILL, Iowa (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a man found outside a hog operation in Merrill in northwest Iowa.
The Plymouth County sheriff's office says 47-year-old James Dixson, of Marcus, was found unresponsive Tuesday night and died at the scene.
The sheriff's office says Dixson collapsed inside a hog confinement building and was moved outside where deputies found him. Dixson was in the building to repair an electrical fan.
An autopsy is pending to determine a cause of death, but it's believed to be either accidental or natural. No foul play is suspected.
