City issues RFP for Events Center private sponsorship sales services

The City of Sioux Falls has issued a Request for Proposals for private sponsorship sales services for the new Events Center to be constructed later this year and open in fall 2014.

The City is considering contracting with a firm to provide professional services related to selling naming rights, sponsorships, and premium seating for the new Events Center.

Services may also include selling naming rights and sponsorships for the existing Convention Center and Arena facilities.

Consultants have until March 8, 2012, to submit proposals to the City Purchasing Office.

An evaluation team will be responsible for reviewing proposals.
