Augustana fell two spots to No. 25 in the latest USA Today/ESPN Division II Top-25 Coaches' Poll released Tuesday. The Vikings earned 72 points in the rankings conducted by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
Ausustana holds a 19-5 record and was ranked No. 23 last week.
California-San Diego received all 32 first-place votes and 800 points to retain its top spot with a 26-0 record.
Wayne State is the only other ranked conference opponent at No. 3. The Wildcats are 24-2 and received 711 points.
Augustana closes out the regular season at MSU Moorhead Friday at 6:05 p.m. and at Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday at 4 p.m.
