We have co-KSFY Taco John's Athletes of the Week this week. They helped lead Deuel to a second straight Class A State Gymnastics title this past weekend.
Deuel junior Sam Weikamp won the vault and the bars individual state titles, to add to her record. She has 18 state individual titles for her career.
Her teammate, freshman Meaghan Sievers won the floor and the beam, and she won the all-around title, edging out her teammate for that title.
For that performance, sweeping all of the state titles at the state meet, we salute Deuel's Sam Weikamp and Meaghan Sievers as our KSFY/Taco John's Athletes of the Week.
