RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Rapid City woman charged in a bizarre sex scandal involving a teenage boy accused of killing her infant daughter now faces additional allegations that she photographed her sexual encounters with the teen.
Twenty-eight-year-old April Solles made her first appearance Tuesday on new felony charges that she possessed, manufactured or distributed child pornography.
Solles is being held on $50,000 bond on the new charges. She was arrested in January after the December death of her 1-year-old daughter. A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in juvenile court with the child's death.
Solles already faces three counts of rape and two counts of sexual contact with a child under 16 for the alleged relationship with the boy.
