Heck Named KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week

Our KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week got her high school track and field season off to a great start at the Dan Lennon Invitational this past week.

Washington High School senior Kari Heck won the 60 meter dash in a Lennon record time.

Heck also shattered the previous long jump record by 10 inches, going 18-7.

And she anchored Washington's winning sprint medley team.

She's is a University of Nebraska recruit, and for that performance we salute Washington's Kari Heck as our KSFY/Taco John's Athlete of the Week.
