Mitchell man pleads guilty to escaping from squad car A man who managed to flee from the back seat of a Mitchell police car has pleaded guilty to escape. Roderick Rouse, 22, of Mitchell has been in custody since the May 16 incident. Authorities say Rouse squeezed through a small, unlocked plastic window separating the back and front seats of the squad car and fled. He eluded officers for about an hour before being arrested near his residence.
